Dear County Market: Judging by my friend, Emily's, latest blog, it appears County Market grocery stores are handing customers a card touting Wild Harvest, their new line of antibiotic-free, hormone-free meats. Suffice to say, it insinuates a whole lot of bad stuff about conventionally-raised meats, hoping to scare consumers into buying their product. Fear-based marketing, at its finest. And what an incredible disappointment to see another store hopping on the fear-based bandwagon in order to generate a cheap sale. Brings to mind another great line: If you need to create a fear to create a sale, you probably don't need to be in business.

Or pin.
