All-electric Bad Boy

Zero-emission utility vehicle can go 20-30 miles on a charge.

This new all-electric multiple terrain utility vehicle comes from the folks who build Bad Boy Mowers. The Batesville, Ark., company offers this 48-volt MTV in two- and four- passenger models with long and short beds.

The zero-emission vehicle is capable of traveling 20-30 miles on a charge, and taking a recharge of its lead-acid batteries in 8 hours. Powered with a single electric motor the MTV sports 4WD and an independent suspension system that allows one wheel to be up 14 inches on an obstacle and the other three wheels remaining flat on the ground. Diesel and gasoline models of this high-clearance vehicle are also in the offing. Check out www.badboymowers.com.
