Frontier Farm Credit Paying Dividends

Patronage dividends total $4.75 million going back to members of Frontier Farm Credit.

Frontier Farm Credit, a borrower-owned cooperative member of the Farm Credit System has begun the payment of $4.75 million in cash patronage dividends to customers. The Frontier Farm Credit board of directors has allocated $25,650,000 in patronage dividends since beginning the patronage program in 2004.

Frontier Farm Credit, ACA is a $1.275 billion borrower-owned cooperative financial institution and member of the nearly 100 year old Farm Credit System serving more than 6,000 shareholders in the eastern 41 counties of Kansas with offices in Manhattan, Marysville, Hiawatha, Emporia, Baldwin, and Parsons. The Association offers agricultural loans, leases, crop insurance, appraisal services, tax preparation, recordkeeping, and estate and transition planning.

Frontier Farm Credit is governed by a board of fourteen directors, twelve of whom are farmers, ranchers, or agribusiness customers elected by the stockholders and two of which are appointed by the board.
