Deadline is July 30 to take advantage of early registration reduced fees for this year’s state beef conference Aug. 12 at Kansas State University.
Early registration is $60 for one person or $100 for two from the same family, ranch or organization.l Fees pay for conference materials, a noon meal and refreshments.
Larry Hollis, K-State Research and Extension veterinarian, says the conference theme is “Value Optimization’ and will focus on helping producers find ways to get the maximum value from their beef cattle herds.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m. All events will be held in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall in the Veterinary Medicine Complex.
Producers unable to attend the campus presentation can register to view the conference live at Pratt Community College, Butler Community College or the Wakeeney Public Library.
