Kansas Communities Looking for Ideas, Suggestions

Kansas Communities Looking for Ideas, Suggestions

Marysville, Marion, Wichita County and Kansas Historical Society all have requests for help in with Kansas Sampler Foundation.

The Kansas Sampler Foundation is asking for some help for four Kansas communities that have asked for advice from others around the state.

Marysville wants to turn an old auditorium into a multi-purpose events center and has started fundraising activities. They would like to hear from other communities which have undertaken similar projects. Anyone with ideas can contact Sarah Kessinger at [email protected].

Marion is looking for funds to complete a gazebo project in its city park. They have an old gazebo and need to decide whether to rebuild, remodel of remove and start over. Contact Mary at [email protected]

Wichita County is looking for program entertainment for annual meetings. They would like to find something fun. Contact Sarla at [email protected]

And finally, if you know any wheat weavers from northeast Kansas – or maybe if you are a wheat weaver, the Education Division and the Museum Store at the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka would like to talk to you. Contact Lois at [email protected]
