Kansas Farm Bureau, the state's largest agricultural advocacy organization, will hold its annual meeting in Manhattan on Friday and Saturday.
More than 1,000 Farm Bureau members representing each of the state's 105 counties will attend the annual meeting where they will have a chance to debate policy, attend workshops and enjoy a variety of entertainment including a performance by Baxter Black, cowboy poet and humorist.
Workshops will focus on farm policy, water issues, transportation, influencing public opinion, advocacy, education and more.
The voting delegate business session will be on Saturday at the KFB headquarters.
Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Friday.
