K-State Students Awarded $500 Scholarships

Two pre-veterinary medicine students get help through Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health and the Kansas Livestock Foundation.

Two Kansas State University students have been awarded $500 scholarships from Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health and the Kansas Livestock Foundation.

Recipients for the 2010-11 school year are Ellen Ouellette from Rantoul and Tera Rooney from Satanta.

Ouellette is majoring in animal science and pre-veterinary medicine. Her parent are Ed and Darla Ouellette.

Rooney is a senior animal science and pre-veterinary medicine major. She is the daughter of Patrick and Jeanette Rooney.

This year  a total of $9,000 in scholarships is being awarded through the Kansas Livestock Foundation.
