Learn More, Make More Money

Ag profitability conference coming up Feb. 16 in Hoisington; geared to central, western Kansas farmers.

An area-wide Agriculture Profitability Conference will be offered to farmers, landowners, ag lenders and other interested parties on Feb. 16 in Hoisington.

The program, offered by Kansas State University Research and Extension, Barton County Extension Council and neighboring counties hopes to draw people from a large area of central and western Kansas.

If you register by Feb. 7, the cost is only $5. Register by Feb. 14 for $10 or register at the door for $15. Send registrations to: Barton County Extension Office, 1800 12th Street, Great Bend, KS 67530. Make checks payable to Barton County Extension.

Rolls, coffee and juice will be served at registration time, 9 a.m. and the program starts at 9:30 a.m. A lunch will be served at noon and the conference adjourns at 3:15 p.m.
