Massey Ferguson has introduced four new subcompact tractor models, in a pair of horsepower configurations with improvements for operator ease and comfort.
The 22.5 hp GC2400 and GC2410 and the 25 hp GC2600 and GC2610 all feature "big tractor" styling cues and operating systems, but now sport controls and ergonomic designs to make operating them more efficient and comfortable.
A taller hood raises headlights for improved views during low-light situations. The dash panel has been redesigned for easier viewing of engine and system monitors, and foot control access has been improved by placing the brake pedal on the left side of the steering column, and hydrostatic front and reverse pedals added to replace the rocker pedal. In addition, joystick control of front-end attachments has been designed into the tractor.
NEW MASSEYS: Four new subcompact tractors from Massey-Ferguson are in showrooms across the country, and available for view on-line as the company adds to the fast-growing smaller tractor marketplace.
MF officials said the new models power and hydraulic systems remain unchanged from previous models because of customer satisfaction with those things.
