New Holland announced this week it has launched an online community dedicated to the agricultural world, www.mynewholland.com.
Open to all farmers and everyone with an interest in farming, My New Holland offers all the functionalities of a virtual community, providing a meeting place to contribute to farming related discussions and access premium contents and services.
"One thing we know is that our customers are passionate about farming and their New Holland equipment," says Mark Hooper, New Holland Director of Marketing. "We believe this community forum is something farmers will find very useful: it's informative, it has personalized content, and it allows farmers to connect with other farmers."
The new forum features "The Spotlight," a guest farmer or industry expert who supports a farming-related topic. All My New Holland members will be invited to contribute their comments, opinions, material or images. Each discussion will be open for a number of weeks; subsequently a white paper will be produced and made available for download.
The first Spotlight will be ethanol, renewable energy, Precision Land Management and variable rate technology with guest farmer Ron Clauson of Clauson Farms in Rochester, Ind.
Clauson is one of the farmers featured in the New Holland SMART stories, which highlights New Holland customers who are making smart decisions for future benefit.
Clauson Farms produces 3,200 acres of row crops. They are on the cutting edge of technology, using variable rate technology and having installed solar panels in fields to create renewable energy to power the farm's irrigation system.
In addition to sharing opinions and experiences, members of the My New Holland community have access to a wealth of valuable information resources, including instructional videos, operating and maintenance tips from the product experts at New Holland, white papers, a calendar of agricultural events, and more.
Owners of New Holland equipment can also gain access to extra premium content that will help them get the best from their machines. They can register the machines they own in their profile and download their models' operator manuals and useful material from our training courses.
When users upload their PLM product information, their product appears. Training, publications, FAQs, troubleshooting, and the ability to unlock a feature with codes is readily available. Users are able to store unlocked codes in one central location.
