One Great Big, Family Operation

One Great Big, Family Operation

Size of the dairy aside, the focus at Forget-Me-Not Farms is on family and faith.

Forget-Me-Not Farms near Cimarron could be termed a "factory farm" in light of the 7,000 cows milked in two rotary milking parlors on the expansive property.

However, the huge dairy is everything idealists mean when they talk about the "family farm" and the hearts of the Ted Boersma family members involved in the day-to-operations are definitely in making the dairy the best it can be.

Planning for the future means trying to find ways to make a place for the family members who want to be involved and Boersma said moving from New Mexico to Kansas to consolidate the dairy into one, expanded operation was part of that goal.

Here is a slideshow on the Boersmas Forget-Me-Not-Farm.
