Sunco Introduces New Trash Discs

Sunco Introduces New Trash Discs

Floating, pull-type, design offers advantages over competing models.

The new Sunco Floating Trash Disc features a pull-type design to eliminate "bouncing" in uneven field conditions.

Mounted on parallel horizontal arms, the discs float above and move residue without gouging, as do many push-type units. The new Sunco Floaters need no floater wheels which tend to float over or restrict trash removal in heavy residue. Also, the discs are mounted in a fashion that prevents them from "competing" for trash, which adds to their flexibility and efficiency in moving residue from the planting row.

A "pulled" design makes for fewer skips and less trash buildup in the teeth of this Sunco row cleaner.

The new Floaters also maintain the original benefits of the Sunco Saber Tooth row cleaner popular in the field since 1995. They feature a swept-back tooth design to move trash without  carry over or lodging in the teeth. Also, the residue manager's teeth do not have to contact the soil, because just coming in contact with residue turns them and allows for trash removal.
