Lincoln Electric has unveiled the fourth volume of its popular Arc Welded Projects book, featuring everything from trailers to fire pits and log splitters.
The new book, featuring projects created by welding students as entries to the James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation's annual awards program, is divided into five cagetories and projects including:
Agriculture -- Chisel plow, bale squeezer, hydraulic trench digger.
Trailers -- Single axle van trailer, 24-foot gooseneck trailer, off-road monster BBQ grill.
Shop Projects -- Flat bar steel roller, hydraulic work station, oil filter crusher.
Home & Recreation -- Electric start log splitter, hitch-carried recumbent bike rack, square fire pit.
Miscellaneous -- Eight-foot snow pusher, pit car, horse drawn trolley.
The book includes materials lists, step-by-step instructions and full plan designs for each project. Also, there's contact information for the students and instructors involved in the original projects.
The 200-page paperback can be purchased online at www.jflf.org for $10. Volumes II and III are also available.
