More than 250 participants in the 4-H horse project will compete Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Kansas State Fair.
Events begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday in the Expo Center. Competition is geared to the age and skill level of the participants and is consistent with educational 4-H programs.
The show is one of the highlights of the year's work in the 4-H horse project, which also teaches participants about different breeds of horses, animal health and nutrition, care or horses, training and safety.
Admission to the horse show is included in general admission to the Fair.
