Farm Safety 4 Just Kids, an organization geared towards promoting farm safety for rural children and families, will celebrate its 20th year in 2007. FS4JK will kick off the celebration at the 2006 NAFB Conference in Kansas City and continue the anniversary events at their bi-annual Leadership Conference, March 16-17.
Marilyn Adams began campaigning for farm safety awareness after her 11-year old son's death in 1986 in a farm accident. FS4JK was formed in 1987, and today it has 132 chapters in 31 states and 4 Canadian provinces, reaching over 1 million people each year though school and community activities.
FS4JK provides educational resources and training to individuals and communities and partners with safety organizations around the world.
