Major Fall Trade Shows Scheduled

U.S. vendors have opportunity to exhibit before thousands.

USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service has extended an invitation to U.S. companies to exhibit their products in the USA Pavilions at three international food and beverage trade shows this year. Those shows are: Fine Food Australia in Sydney, Australia, September 7-10; World Food Moscow 2009 in Moscow, Russia, September 15-18; and Anuga 2009 in Cologne, Germany, October 10-14.


The Fine Food Australia 2009 show in Sydney is an international exhibition for the food, drink and equipment industries. It's the largest food industry event in the region. Last year's show drew 950 exhibitors from 32 countries and attracted nearly 24,000 trade visitors from 47 countries.


The World Food Moscow 2009 show is the largest international food exhibition in Russia, offering U.S. exporters an excellent opportunity to introduce their food products. Last year's show drew 1,308 exhibitors from 61 countries and attracted more than 45,000 trade representatives from all parts of Russia.


And the Anuga 2009 exhibit in Cologne, Germany, is the world's largest trade show for food and beverages. Exhibitors and visitors from around the world meet at Anuga to conduct cross-border business and make international contacts. Anuga 2007 featured 6,795 exhibitors and attracted over 163,000 trade visitors from 175 countries.
