NPPC Leadership Changed Announced

Adamson replaces Ferrell.

Kirk Ferrell is leaving his position as Vice President of Public Policy for the National Pork Producers Council. Ferrell is being replaced by current Assistant Vice President of Public Policy, Audrey Adamson. The transition in Washington, D.C. should be completed by late September.

NPPC CEO Neil Djerks, says Ferrell is leaving NPPC to devote more time to his family. Djerks says - Kirk has provided invaluable service to NPPC and the pork industry during his tenure, which began in 1990. His efforts have included various programming and policy responsibilities, most recently as Vice President of Public Policy since 2001.

According to Djerks, Audrey Adamson, who steps into Kirk Ferrell's position, with the new title of Vice President of Domestic Policy, brings a dynamic background and a wealth of experience to the position, which will direct NPPC domestic policy initiatives as well as oversee operational activities of NPPC's Washington, D.C., office. Audrey will report directly to Djerks.
