Lincoln Electric has introduced the Outback 185 engine-driven DC stick welder and AC power generator.
The highly portable 185 is equipped with lift bars for easy transport into and off from truck beds, and is designed with farmers and ranchers, contractors, maintenance crews and service truck operators.
The Outback is capable of smooth DC welding of up to 185 amps on steel, stainless steel and cast iron and uses up to 5/32" stick electrodes. A single calibrated and full-range welding output dial makes machine setup easy.
In addition to an all-around stick welder, the Outback 185 also provides 5,700 watts of peak power and 5,200 watts of continuous run service. Both 240 VAC and 120VAC outlets make powering additional and add-on equipment such as Lincoln's Power MIG 140C or 180C convenient at the job site.
The Outback comes with a 6.8 gallon fuel tank and a three-year warranty on the welder and the Kohler engine.
