Pork Industry Forum Announced

Early registration is now being accepted.

Early registration is now open for the 2011 National Pork Industry Forum to be held March 3-5 at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona. During the meeting the 15 producers who serve as members of the National Pork Board will receive direction from the deliberations of the Pork Act Delegates.

The gathering will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Checkoff. Officials say the U.S. pork production industry has had great success in those 25 years, assisted by the promotion, research and consumer information programs supported by the Pork Checkoff.

Also, producer delegates will be the first to see the new marketing campaign designed to refresh and reinvigorate the image of pork in the minds of U.S. consumers. And they will hear about progress in the industry's We Care initiative designed to build consumer trust in the way pork is produced.
