The American Angus Association has promoted Robin Ruff to the position of junior activities director. As director, she will oversee the activities of more than 7,000 active junior Angus members, will coordinate programs of the National Junior Angus Association and will work closely with the board to facilitate leadership programs, educational events and shows.
Ruff has served as the junior activities assistant since May 2007, when she graduated from Kansas State University.
Ruff is a native of Hanston. She grew up on a family cattle farm and competed in the show ring on several levels. Junior activities are a program of the American Angus Association, which has headquarters in St. Joseph, MO.'
