It is a fact of life that not all farms – or all farm auctions – are created equal.
One of the outstanding ones is coming on June 19 when Hall and Hall will be conducting a public auction of O'Dell Farms, a property totaling more than 2,417 acres of farmland, woodlands, homes, ponds and streams, outbuildings and future home sites.
The property is located just northeast of Kansas City, Mo. in Clay County, Missouri. The auction will begin at 10 a.m. at the KCI-Expo Center in Kansas City.
Following the model of several recent highly successful auctions, the property will be divided into 23 tracts that will be sold individually or in combinations.
Farmland close to the city
"This is your chance to buy your dream property in the country, add to your existing operation, purchase hunting land, or simply invest in Midwest farmland," says Scott Shuman of Hall and Hall. "O'Dell Farms is a great place to escape the bustle with your own country retreat amongst the rolling hills of Missouri, only a stone's throw from Kansas City."
Information dates have been set for Thursday, May 16 and Wednesday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon each day. Interested potential buyers can meet with Hall and Hall to learn more about the property and the auction process.
Detailed property information, including FSA information, is available to interested bidders. Showings and information will be available on the designated information dates or by appointment. For additional information on farm and ranch auctions, contact Hall and Hall Auctions at 800-829-8747 or visit the website.
Informational meetings will take place on Tract 19. From Interstate 35, take exit 26 for MO-92 Kearney/Excelsior Springs. Travel East on HWY 92, through Kearney approximately 4.9 miles to Tract 19. Watch for signs.
